Can you write with an Apple Pencil in Clearful?

Apple Pencil can still be useful in Clearful on iPad, but Clearful is currently built around typed editing rather than a dedicated handwritten-note canvas.

Clearful is built around typed journal editing, not a separate handwritten journal canvas.

On iPad

  • Apple Pencil can still be useful with iPad text-input features where iPadOS makes them available.
  • Clearful’s editor and keyboard behavior account for Apple Pencil-related iPad layouts.
  • Freehand handwriting and sketch-style pages are not part of Clearful’s current editor.

Clearful does not currently provide a dedicated freehand drawing or handwritten-page mode.
