How to delete your account

Permanently delete a Clearful account, understand what gets erased, and export your data before doing it.

Before you delete anything

Export anything you want to keep first. Deleting your Clearful account permanently erases your journal entries and other account data; they cannot be recovered afterward.

Delete your account

Section titled “Delete your account”
  1. Open Settings.
  2. Open Account Info.
  3. Choose Permanently Delete Account.
  4. Review the warning, type the confirmation text when prompted, and confirm deletion.
  5. If you have a registered account, complete the requested reauthentication step.

Your account closes immediately when the process completes.

If you only want to stop your Pro renewal, cancel your subscription instead. Deleting the app or your Clearful account does not replace cancellation through the store or billing provider.
