Can Clearful be accessed on desktop and web?
Published and reviewed
Short answer
Section titled “Short answer”Yes. Clearful is not limited to mobile phones. The current codebase supports web and macOS alongside iPhone and Android.
What to tell users
Section titled “What to tell users”- Sign in with the same Clearful account on each device you want to use.
- Your journal should stay tied to your account, not to just one device.
- Some features may arrive on mobile first, so if something feels different on web or desktop, that can be a platform limitation rather than an account issue.
Current platform notes
Section titled “Current platform notes”- Web support exists today and includes account access, writing, and exports.
- macOS is supported as its own desktop app.
- Some media flows can still be more limited on web than on mobile. For example, local video picking and uploading on web is not part of the current v1 media scope.
If something is missing on one platform
Section titled “If something is missing on one platform”If a user expects a feature to work exactly the same everywhere and it does not, ask for:
- the platform they are using
- the app or browser version
- the exact feature they expected to see
Then route the conversation through support so the team can confirm whether it is a bug or a current platform limit.
