Create and use templates
Published and reviewed
What templates are for
Section titled “What templates are for”Templates are useful when a user wants a repeatable journaling structure instead of starting from a blank page each time.
Examples:
- a morning reflection
- an evening review
- a weekly reset
- a recurring gratitude check-in
What to tell users
Section titled “What to tell users”- Templates save structure and prompts, not just plain text.
- They are a good fit for routines the user wants to repeat.
- Guided prompts from the library and personal templates can complement each other.
If a user cannot find a template option
Section titled “If a user cannot find a template option”Ask:
- which platform they are on
- whether they are trying to use a library prompt or a personal template
- whether the issue is creating, editing, or opening the template
That will usually make the next step obvious.
