Photos and images

Clearful supports adding images to journal entries. On supported devices, users can pick existing photos and add them directly into an entry.

Videos

Clearful now supports private video in entries on supported platforms, including upload handling and playback.

Current platform notes

• Mobile is the main path for capturing or choosing media.
• Web supports many everyday writing flows, but local video picking and uploading on web is not part of the current v1 media scope.
• If the user is on web and specifically asks about video uploads, set the expectation that this is still limited today.

If media is not appearing correctly

Collect:

• device type and OS version
• whether the issue is with upload, playback, or thumbnails
• whether the problem is image-only, video-only, or both

That helps separate a platform limitation from a bug.
