Short answer
Section titled “Short answer”Subscriptions are managed through the platform or billing provider tied to the purchase.
What to tell users
Section titled “What to tell users”- Open Settings > Subscription in Clearful.
- Use the Manage Subscription option.
- Cancel there, not by deleting the app.
After cancellation
Section titled “After cancellation”The user should still keep access to Pro for the remainder of the current paid period. If they are on a free trial, they need to cancel before the trial ends to avoid being charged.
If the manage link is missing
Section titled “If the manage link is missing”Clearful can fall back to the correct management URL based on the user’s store or billing setup. If that still does not work, support should collect:
- purchase platform
- whether the account is on web or in an app store
- the email tied to billing
